SkinPen Microneedling

Microneedling, also referred to as “collagen induction therapy,” is a highly effective cosmetic treatment that can transform your skin. During the procedure, your certified microneedling specialist uses the SkinPen, an FDA-approved handheld device, to delicately prick your skin with tiny, sterilized needles.

This process stimulates collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer, and younger-looking skin. Don't hesitate to book your appointment today and experience the amazing benefits of microneedling firsthand.

What is SkinPen?

SkinPen is an automated, non-surgical microneedling device that generates microchannels to promote the body's natural healing process while reducing cellular damage. SkinPen was the first microneedling device approved by the FDA.

It has been clinically shown to cure face acne scars safely and successfully for those aged 22 and up. With as little as three non-invasive and inexpensive treatments spaced 30 days apart, you may improve your look and walk out with pride.

Steps in the procedure

1

Skin Preparation

Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove any makeup, oils, or impurities.

2

Double cleanse

(cleanse and repeat) your skin with your cleanser of choice to remove all traces of makeup, oils and lotions.

3

Apply a numbing cream

for a more comfortable experience. Apply a generous amount to the needling area 20-30 minutes prior to needling.

4

Removal

Remove the numbing cream with an antiseptic alcohol wipe or chlorexidine solution, cleanse the skin again and use an additional wipe.

5

Apply a hydrating serum

(we suggest Hyaluronic Acid) before microneedling. This will lubricate the skin and prevent the microneedling pen from creating drag on the skin.

6

Small sections

Working in small sections and applying serum to each area before microneedling, you're going to work the pen in either a criss cross motion or small circular motions

7

Washing

Once you've completed, wash it gently with lukewarm water and immediately apply Hyaluronic Acid to the area to calm and hydrate the skin.

Microneedling can help with several skin issues, including:

A

Enlarged pores

B

Scars

C

Sun damage

D

Stretch marks

E

Reduced skin elasticity

F

Acne
